The crus of Nebbiolo grapes for Barolo are situated in the best hillsides in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto and La Morra. Since the 90s the vineyards have been completely replanted following the best grafting and training techniques, high quality has been ensured for all other vines as well.

Vineyards in Verduno

Verduno can be considered as a northern prolongation of the hillcrest of La Morra. Its soil is particularly rich in silicon and gypsum. They include a small Nebbiolo vineyard for the production of Barolo.

Vineyards for the production of Nebbiolo d’Alba, a wine with a fine fragrance and harmonious taste,, as well as for the production of Barbera d’Alba, characterized by ripe fruit notes and full body.

Vineyards in Alba

In Scaparoni the vines have been developing since the year 2000 from whose grapes Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, and the white wines Langhe Arneis and Moscato are produced, four aces which round off the range of fine tasting wines with texture.

 

CRU Roere

It is located on the sun-drenched slope of Ciocchini, in La Morra. The soil is made of yellow-reddish sand alternating with grey marl from the Helvetian-Tortonic age., The wine is full-bodied and with a great personality. In the same region the family decided to cultivate a hazelnut tree plantation.

CRU Montanello

This historical vineyard is characterized by a terroir of grey marl, perfect for the production of Nebbiolo for Barolo. It is one of the most appreciated crus in the Barolo region.

CRU Rocche di Castiglione

It includes less than one hectare around the Monchiero vineyard estate: from its grapes they produce Barolo Le Rocche di Castiglione, a high quality wine greatly appreciated at wine tastings and award ceremonies. The soil, rich in yellow-reddish sand alternating with grey marl from the Helvetian-Tortonic age, offers a real wealth of minerals which were left millions of years ago by cold waters and marine deposits.
